Supervised hands-on partner practice at a DRT seminar
Clinical Curriculum Module

Delivery Format and Method of Instruction

A comprehensive hybrid education model combining digital mastery with intensive hands-on clinical proficiency.

Step 1 · Online Preparatory Instruction

Hybrid Educational Model and Digital Coursework

Dynamic Release Techniques provides a hybrid educational model combining online preparatory instruction with live, in-person clinical training. Before attending the seminar, participants complete the required 16 hours of online coursework (part of the 32 CE hours of Level 2, the Dynamic Release Techniques System: 16 online with Dr. Robert C. Gordon, doctor of chiropractic, member of the American Academy of Manipulation Under Anesthesia Providers, plus 16 in person, pending approval) covering the principles of Manipulations Under Anesthesia, patient selection criteria, indications, contraindications, documentation requirements, and the clinical application of Soft Tissue and Osseous Manipulation Under Anesthesia for chronic disorders. Students gain an understanding of Soft Tissue and Osseous Manipulation Under Anesthesia procedural protocols, pre-operative considerations, observational clinical techniques, and the pathway to implementing Soft Tissue and Osseous Manipulation Under Anesthesia within a hospital or ambulatory surgery center setting.

Step 2 · In-Person Clinical Practicum

Live In-Person Clinical Training

During the in-person portion of the seminar, participants work directly with DRT instructors and fellow attendees to develop palpation, tissue assessment, patient positioning, and hands-on treatment skills. Instruction includes instructor demonstrations, supervised partner practice, clinical application, and individualized feedback.

Step 3 · Evaluation and Certification

Competency Examinations and Professional Verification

After completing the required online education and in-person training, participants demonstrate their knowledge and technical proficiency through written and practical competency examinations. Successful completion confirms that the participant has met the minimum educational and clinical standards established by Dynamic Release Techniques for the appropriate use of the techniques within their professional scope of practice.
